Welcome to riven. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using riven, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use riven. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Geographic Availability & Restricted Jurisdictions

riven and its third-party services (including Jupiter for token swaps and Bridge for banking rails) are only available in jurisdictions where such services can operate legally. By using riven, you represent that:

• You are located in a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency exchange services are permitted
• You are not subject to sanctions or located in a restricted territory
• You will comply with all applicable local laws regarding digital asset transactions

Restricted Jurisdictions: riven services are not available to persons or entities located in, incorporated in, or residents of the following jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Kingdom, or the European Union:

• Cuba
• Iran
• North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea)
• Syria
• Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions

Additionally, services may be restricted in other jurisdictions where cryptocurrency exchange services are prohibited by local law, including but not limited to certain regions with evolving regulatory frameworks. We reserve the right to restrict access to our services in certain jurisdictions to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

riven is distributed only through app storefronts in regions where our third-party service providers can legally operate. You must not use any software or networking techniques, including use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN), to circumvent these geographic restrictions.

4. Description of Service

riven is an application that provides invoicing, banking rails, and cryptocurrency wallet services. Our services include:

• Invoice creation and management
• Virtual bank account services for receiving payments
• Self-custody wallet management
• Token swapping and trading functionality
• Payment tracking and management

5. Third-Party Services

riven integrates with trusted third-party services to provide core functionality:

• Jupiter Ultra — We use Jupiter Ultra for token swap aggregation, providing you with optimal routing and best execution prices across Solana decentralized exchanges
• Privy — We use Privy for secure embedded wallet infrastructure, enabling safe and reliable wallet operations
• Bridge — We use Bridge for virtual bank accounts, banking rails, and ACH cash out services

By using riven's swap, banking, and transaction features, you also agree to be bound by the terms of service of these third-party providers.

6. Self-Custody & Responsibility

riven is a self-custody wallet. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your private keys
• Backing up your wallet recovery phrase
• All transactions made through your wallet
• Any losses resulting from unauthorized access to your wallet

We do not have access to your private keys and cannot recover them if lost.

7. Payment Services

When using our payment services:

• Virtual bank accounts are provided through third-party banking partners
• Currency conversion rates are determined at the time of transaction
• Processing times may vary based on banking partner policies
• You are responsible for tax obligations related to payments received

8. Risks

Using riven involves certain risks. You acknowledge that:

• Digital asset prices are highly volatile
• You may lose some or all of your funds
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible
• Regulatory changes may affect the availability of services
• Technical issues may cause delays or failures

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Create fraudulent invoices or misrepresent services
• Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the app
• Circumvent any security measures
• Use the service to launder money or finance illegal activities

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of riven are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without permission.

11. Disclaimers

riven is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any losses resulting from your use of the service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, riven and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
